About VCU Fraternity and Sorority Life
At Virginia Commonwealth University, Fraternity and Sorority Life is a community filled with diverse fraternities and sororities. We offer academic assistance, community service opportunities, social awareness, engagement, leadership development, and a chance to make new friends. With over 1,200 members in approximately 26 organizations, we aim to empower parents and prospective students to make informed decisions by providing insights into the positive aspects of Greek life and addressing any concerns they may have.
Our community strives for academic excellence, and we showcase our achievements through our average GPAs. Our website includes information about the four councils (IFC, CPC, UGC, and NPHC). We also examine scholarly journals, articles, and relevant publications addressing the impact of Greek life on students, the role of parents in students' college experiences, and the intersection of faith and education. Our website also includes videos from different campus departments, along with resources on various topics related to fraternity and sorority life, such as FAQs, myths, stereotypes, parent's roles, leadership skills, and the costs associated with joining a fraternity or sorority.
