Prevention
At Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), students are encouraged to engage with student organizations to connect with fellow Rams, explore their passions, and acquire new skills. Upon joining a VCU student organization, students should experience a warm welcome and acceptance for who they are and be treated with respect and dignity. No Ram should endure demeaning or harmful behavior while seeking their place within the VCU community.

As members of the VCU community, we are committed to looking out for each other's safety and well-being. This commitment includes identifying, addressing, and reporting incidents of hazing.
​
Transforming the culture around hazing requires a collective effort from the entire community, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families. Together, we can collaborate to eradicate hazing at VCU.

All students wishing to join a fraternity or Sorority are required to attend Adams Law Hazing Prevention Training. You can find the training linked below:
